Fallout 4 Contains More Dialogue Than Fallout 3 And Skyrim Combined

Bethesda has confirmed Fallout 4 will feature a humongous storyline containing more dialogue than Fallout 3 and Skyrim combined. This is an astonishing feat given the detailed and expansive environments which were paramount to both Fallout 3 and Skyrim’s narrative. It’s difficult to comprehend how the 111,000 lines of dialogue will pan out and if the voice acting refers mainly to leading characters or obscure NPCs. The dialogue was amassed over many years and has the potential to offer the most enriching story ever devised in a video game.
Unfortunately, Erik Todd Dellums, who voiced Three Dog from Fallout 3 will not be returning and didn’t record any lines. This is a real shame and would have created a sense of synergy between Fallout 3 and its successor. Nevertheless, I’m fairly confident Fallout 4 will meet the expectation of its very passionate, and loyal community. Only time will tell, but early indications about the game evokes a great deal of enthusiasm. Graphically, it doesn’t look like a huge leap but mod support should help in this regard.
I’m pleased to see Bethesda slowly divulging information about the game through public social media channels. Currently, Fallout 4 is scheduled for release on November 10th 2015, and coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Hopefully, the PC version will be well-optimized and actually allow for official mod support.
