It’s been a little under two weeks since it was released, but I think it’s pretty safe to say that Fallout 76 has divided opinion. People either love it or hate it and the latter camp is certainly winning the war in vocal terms. While I am a fan of the game, I will admit, it is far more perfect and (like any Bethesda game) has more than a few problems that need solving.
Well, it seems that the game is in a bit of a freefall at the moment as despite it not even officially being 2 weeks since it was released, it is already subject to some pretty huge discounts!
To date, there has been very little to suggest that Fallout 76 is selling badly. At the same time though, it doesn’t take a genius to see that this is perhaps going to go down as one of the worst received games in the franchise’s history. As such, although it is early days, a sale isn’t necessarily surprisingly. It is, however, surprising to see this dumped down to less than £35. This isn’t just for PC either as I’ve also noted similar prices for the XBox One and PS4.
I think so. It is, however, important to understand what you are getting into here. This isn’t a Fallout game in the traditional sense. It is more of a multiplayer experience set in the Fallout universe. For better or worse, I often find myself calling it a somewhat polished Fallout mod for Rust. You can make of that what you will.
It is on the sale though, so if you have been holding fire, get the game and make your own mind up!
