Do you think you have what it takes to be a video game voice actor/actress? – Well, now might be your time to strike! Especially for those of you born within the sound of bow bells, which, if you understand what that means, possibly might mean you’re already partially qualified!
How could you do this though? Well, following an update to the highly-anticipated Fallout: London website, a fanmade DLC-sized mod built upon Fallout 4, they have officially opened up applications for people who’d like to volunteer to be a voice actor/actress within the title. Yep, you could, with the right voice and skills, potentially be an unofficial part of the Fallout franchise!
Now, just before you feel prejudiced against for not being a Londoner, don’t worry, this isn’t as important as you might think. Yes, even Dick Van Dyke’s incredibly unconvincing attempt in Mary Poppins might technically qualify here. – So, what are they after? Well, the team behind the Fallout London mod are looking for a wide variety of British accents to feature in their title. Having a London accent is probably beneficial, but it seems they’re open to pretty much anything. Perhaps even my brummigen accent to act as a further pollutant to the virtual London air!
If you would, however, like to learn more and maybe make your submission, you can check out the official entry form/FAQ via the link here!
What do you think? Are you going to apply? If so, what accent will you be offering? – Let us know in the comments!
