Fallout New Vegas DLC Delayed

The upcoming fourth DLC pack for Fallout New Vegas “Lonesome Road” has been officially announced , by Bethesda, as being delayed. Bethesda has claimed that the reason for the delay is due to circumstances “Out of their control”. Bethesda released an official statement on their blog announcing the delay which reads as follows:

“We just wanted to drop in here and let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control, Lonesome Road won’t be out this month. This isn’t due to any major issue with the code or content, but there are lots of factors involved in releasing these things, and one of those is causing us to slip past our intended release date. We don’t have an exact date yet, but we’re working to get it out as quickly as possible. We’ll be announcing the final date, along with a couple of other interesting FNV-related items in the near future.”

The roadmap at Bethesda studios planned to have this DLC pack released by the end of July but now it seems it will not arrive until September as the content is simply not close enough to being finished. When it finally arrives at whatever date that may be it will arrive simultaneously on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 and will cost in the region of $10 which equates to 800 Microsoft points for those Xbox 360 users. You can read the full statement by Bethesda here and the screenshot below is one released as a “teaser” for the new DLC pack.
