RTX Remix is slowly making its way around many classic titles and giving them fresh remasters all from the everyday person who understands how to use the tool. Since its BETA release back in January many games have received a remix many of which can be seen in our guide here, but recently a modder has showcased their remix for Fallout New Vegas.
Fallout New Vegas is one of the the more popular Fallout titles which still holds a strong modding community to this day, it’s also over a decade old so any form of a remaster is surely welcome. Modder Darko P recently published a YouTube video (Via DSOGaming) showcasing Fallout New Vegas “In all its terrible glory” with RTX Remix and Ray Reconstruction. Now it’s not the best implementation as it’s a bit buggy and doesn’t run all that well with an average of 15 FPS on an RTX 3080 Ti. Darko P states that they are “just showing the potential of this tech/imagining how it can (or would) look” for that reason it’s not available for download just yet.
RTX Remix is still in its early stages, but once modders learn the tools and NVIDIA implements further improvements on their end, I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of quality stuff being put out there.
