Seinfeld is undoubtedly one of the most successful sitcoms of the 90s, which is why it is still being broadcasted over and over again on numerous networks. Apparently, the sitcom made quite an impression on a guy named Doug Keener, who decided to put his skills to good use by recreating the famous Seinfeld apartment as a Doom 2 map. What’s even more impressive is that the map actually includes music and other sound clips borrowed from the show, and since Doom 2 is a game known for its gory scenes, the main characters from the show are completely killable. That being said, the map’s creator released a YouTube video showcasing his work, and he insisted that this is definitely not a “hate video.”
Those of you who enjoy these kinds of unique map mods for older games might want to give this one a try, in which case you can download it from here. You might also want to have a look at the actual YouTube video, just in case you want to see what the map really looks like before you try it out. Creating a Doom 2 map is definitely an original way to show off your appreciation for a TV show, wouldn’t you agree?
