I’m a huge fan of ‘The Evil Dead‘, possibly as much as I am of ‘Resident Evil‘. In terms of any kind of crossovers though, beyond the realms of comic books (where I’m sure it’s probably happened at some point or another) or gaming mods, the chances of ever seeing Ash Williams officially fighting Umbrella always seemed more than a little unlikely (as much as I’d love it to happen).
Following a video released by the YouTube channel ‘eli_handle_b․wav‘, however, following what is some of the most impressive fan-editing work I have ever seen, a live-action Ash Williams (aka Bruce Campbell) has been injected into the world of Resident Evil Village and… Well… Just watch it for yourself below! I promise you though, you’re going to be impressed!
Now just to be clear, in case you haven’t watched the video yet, this isn’t a mod. If it was, I’d already be downloading it now! – Coming from someone who has a solid (albeit limited) grasp of video editing though, the work that has gone into this is exceptionally impressive. Not just in injecting Ash Williams without any notable tearing, but more so that the scenes they picked from the various ‘Evil Dead’ films perfectly meshed with the Resident Evil Village gameplay.
This is, however, what ‘eli_handle_b․wav‘ does and has a pretty extensive range of similar projects on their YouTube channel we thoroughly recommend you check out!

What do you think? How impressed are you with the work that has clearly gone into this amazing crossover video? Would you ever like to see Ash Williams officially brought into Resident Evil? – Let us know in the comments!
