Ubisoft‘s Far Cry 5 is not due to come out until March 27, but it is now available for pre-order. As usual, it comes in a variety of options for gamers other than the Standard and Deluxe edition. Every single one comes with an assortment of bonuses, and in usual Far Cry fashion, it gets crazier the higher up it goes.
The Standard Edition has the base price of $59.99 available for PC, PS4 or Xbox One. Pre-ordering gives users access to the ‘Doomsday Prepper Pack’. It includes the prepper outfit, gun and vehicle skins.
The Deluxe Edition costs $10 more at $69.99. However, users get quite a bit more in-game items. This includes a .44 magnum handgun and the AR-C assault rifle with unique skins. It also includes the Ace Pilot pack and the Big Game hunter pack. Each comes with its own special outfit plus unique weapon and vehicles.
The Gold Edition is available in standard Gold or the Steelbook Gold version. As the name suggests, the other one gets a physical Steelbook with it. However, it is only available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platform. Moreover, it includes not just the game plus the deluxe pack, but the season pass as well. Even further, the season pass provides access to the MBP sniper rifle, exclusive to Day 1 orders. The Gold Edition costs $89.99, while the Steelbook Gold version costs $99.99.
After Gold is where things get a little bit crazier, starting with the Mondo Edition. For $99.99, it includes:
This set has a limited count of 4000 units, available exclusively only through the Ubisoft Store.
The Father Edition includes all the Digital Deluxe pack content plus the Explosive and Chaos Packs which consist of additinal consumables. In terms of physical content, it also delivers quite a bit since it costs $159.99 each.
The Hope County Edition is the grand daddy of all the Far Cry 5 versions. This one costs $179.99 but has the biggest package out of all. That is because it brings a limited Hope County Deer Skull Trophy with it, limited to 6000 units. It is made of high-quality resin and measures 17.7 inches wide, with a Far Cry 5 style design. Plus, buyers will get the following in addition to every single digital content available in other versions:
