One of the big releases of 2018 is going to be the latest edition in the Far Cry series. Far Cry 5 seems to be taking us in a bold new direction, but after the criticism of the last few games, Primal in particular, this might not be such a bad thing.
Taking place in the US, Far Cry 5 is so far looking to be an excellent step up for the series. Once which is definitely needed to secure the long-term future of the franchise.
In a report via DSOGaming, Far Cry 5 promises to introduce a whole new host of features. One of which will surely be of interest will be that it promises to include the biggest roster of customisable weapons and vehicles ever seen in the series. The game will also feature a full co-op mission play of the game from start to finish.
Of course, with this being Ubisoft, we are curbing our enthusiasm a little. So far, however, Far Cry 5 is looking pretty darn excellent.
The system requirements have already been released for the series and you can check-out our article here for a more in-depth look. We have, however, including some standard specifications for you below:
As part of the lead up to the release on March 27th, Ubisoft has released a new trailer detailing the story mode of the game.
The full trailer can be viewed below and as above, while we might be reserving a little judgement on how Far Cry 5 will turn out, this could possibly be one of the best releases in the series so far.
