Far Cry 6 Is finally coming to Steam after being an Epic Exclusive since launch.
Far Cry 6 launched as one of the many games that have been signed as Epic exclusive meaning that those loyal to Steam have chosen not to play the game due to their dislike of the other storefront. After an almost 2 year wait, that will change as the exclusive deal that Epic has with Far Cry 6 has expired and the game will now be available to purchase on Steam from the 11th of May.
Another game that was also an Epic exclusive and is now coming to Steam is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction. This is the tactical co-op game taking the characters from the popular Rainbow Six Siege and making them face off against an evolving alien threat. This game will be available from Steam from the 15th of June.
Competition within the PC game storefronts is definitely needed, however that doesn’t negate the annoying fact of having to use so many seperate launchers.
