The Farming Simulator phenomenon is about to release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as soon as September the 5th, in Europe and Japan. The game will release shortly thereafter in America. Let the agricultural carnage begin!
Farming Simulator planted seeds deep within the hearts of PC players worldwide with millions of copies sold since the start of the series. Now the worldwide phenomenon Farming Simulator finally arrives on consoles, with a lot of new features! A week from its release, the game shows more through a series of 4 new screenshots, all revealing some more of the brand new content offered by the console version of Farming Simulator.
More than a mere adaptation, the console versions of Giants Software’s game indeed bring a whole new experience to consoles. An entirely new American backdrop has now been added to the extensive European environment familiar to PC players, which will double the size of the gameplay area in Farming Simulator. Inspired by typical American farms, this new and monumental terrain represents a total change of scene, with new locations, fresh development opportunities for your farm and even bigger fields suitable for the largest agricultural machinery available in the game. The game also offers new vehicles, only found in Farming Simulator on consoles providing a the huge selection of farming vehicles the player may use and drive to develop their farm!
Farming Simulator on consoles will also benefit, at the end of the year, from additional content that will add new vehicles to renew and extend the game. Although lets stop and be honest for a moment, does ANYONE actually play this game seriously? A few hundred thousand YouTube videos would imply they don’t, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun making a mess of things in this virtual world.
Thank you Giants Software for providing us with this information.
