The system requirements for FIFA 18 were released yesterday but Origin is now offering the demo available for download. This lets fans try out the game and warm up before the September 26 release date. At around 12:00 AM EDT on that day, FIFA 18 will be fully playable for those who pre-order it. Console players can also download the demo now via the PlayStation store and XBOX Live Marketplace.
The game itself comes in three versions: standard, Ronaldo Edition and ICON edition. Ordering the Ronaldo and ICON edition gives players the advantage of a 3-day headstart before the launch date. Each edition also varies in Jumbo Premium Gold packs you can receive. These allow players to level up and build their teams faster, so naturally the most expensive ICON Edition gets up to 40 gold packs (two per week). Meanwhile, the Ronaldo Edition gets up to 20 packs (one per week) and the standard edition gets up to 5 packs (one per week).
The ICON edition also gets the advantage of receiving a 5-match loan of Ronaldo Nazário in FIFA Ultimate Team. Plus ICON edition players receive one 3-match TOTW FUT loan player per week over 20 weeks.
FIFA 18 is the most graphically impressive FIFA game yet, making use of the Frostbite engine to full effect. The entire animation system gets a revamp with impressive new motion capture system that accurately represent the players.
The standard edition is available for $59.99 USD. The Ronaldo edition costs $79.99 and the ICON edition costs $99.99.
