Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail Benchmark Tool Releases Today

Are you ready for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion? Well, how about your PC? If you’re eager to find out how well this massive new update will perform, you’ll be happy to hear that the official benchmark tool has just launched today!

The benchmark tool was revealed during the epic 14-hour anniversary broadcast, alongside a letter from the game’s producer, all of which focused on the upcoming Dawntrail expansion. To celebrate the release of the tool, Square Enix has also released a brand new trailer for the benchmark too, which you can check out below!

Along with the benchmark, you’ll find the new character creation tool, which now includes female Hrothgar options, and then there’s also a wealth of graphical updates to the game. This last part is important, as it does mean increased requirements for the game, so the new benchmark tool is pretty important in that regard.
