FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Requirements Benchmark Now Available

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood is a much-awaited DLC due for launch on June 20 for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realn Reborn, Square Enix’ massively multiplayer online role-playing game which came out in 2013. To prepare gamers for the launch and to build some hype for its release, Square Enix has released a benchmark program for FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood. This program not only shows off the gorgeous visuals of the upcoming DLC update but also lets gamers test whether their system is up to the task of comfortably running it and by how much.

The graphics update for Stormblood has been significant ever since A Realm Reborn and since Heavensward that this DLC is only for the PC and PS4, with PS3 players left out in the cold. The FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood benchmark can be downloaded here and is 1.9 GB (zipped) in size.

Gamers can pre-purchase the Standard Edition on Steam for $39.99 USD or the Collector’s Edition for $59.99 USD. Pre-purchase bonus provides early access to the game ahead of the official launch (scheduled to begin Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00 a.m. PT) and will receive the Ala Mhigan Earrings and Wind-up Red Mage Minion exclusive in-game items.
