I’ve been eager to play Final Fantasy XVI on PC, but much like previous games, it’s been held up on consoles for quite some time. Of course, the PC versions of the Final Fantasy games is often delayed anyway, but the wait is often worth it as they come with a plethora of new features, largely in terms of their graphics, so I’m eager to see what they’ve cooked up.
However, Square Enix may soon reveal the actual release date for Final Fantasy XVI as NVIDIA already has a Game Ready driver for the game, suggesting that it’s likely ready! With the release of the NVIDIA GeForce 560.81 Driver, you’ll find that if you look int the game profiles, there’s one for Once Human and Final Fantasy XVI.
This makes sense, as Gamescom 2024 is right around the corner, and we could see them reveal the game for PC there. So expect some sort of reveal very soon, or most likely a leak, as this industry isn’t great at keeping a secret.
