Many of those who finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have probably started to play the game all over again in order to explore other choices and other areas. However, CD Projekt RED’s upcoming expansions for the game are going to provide even more reasons to pick up the title once more, as they are expected to deliver many more hours of gameplay as well as new characters and new storylines. The first expansion for The Witcher 3 is going to be called “Hearts of Stone”, and it will be released soon on October 13.
In order to mark the announcement, CD Projekt RED also released a teaser trailer for the expansion. Hearts of Stone will offer more than 10 hours of gameplay and will include brand new characters, new monsters, new romance options and a unique storyline that will evolve based on the player’s choices.
I personally enjoyed the main campaign of The Witcher 3 quite a bit, but the side quests were the ones that kept me in front of my PC for hours at a time. After quite a few patches that improved the game’s stability and performance, a fresh expansion will surely be received with open arms by Witcher 3 fans.
