Tired of the same old dusty look to your wasteland? Of course you’re not, most of you have barely even started playing Fallout 4, let alone getting bored with it! However, if your eyes are telling you that the game could do with a slight visual kick up the backside, then you’ll want to check out the new mod on Nexusmods.
“Enhanced Wasteland is a ReShade/SweetFX Preset. The goal of this preset was to slightly add more vibrance to the wasteland environment in Fallout 4 and make it appear less washed out. There is also usage of other settings that I think make the game look better. You can check out the screenshots to see how it will look in-game.”
Enhanced Wasteland is a fairly simple mod, but the visual impact is certainly noticeable. Using ReShade/SweetFX presets, it tweaks the lighting, vibrance, shadows and a few other effects to give the games visuals a little more beauty and flair.
The team have done a great job with building the world of Fallout 4, but we all know that the truly greatest aspect of Bethesda games comes after the release date. There’s a very talented modding community out there already working hard on making this game better. So while this may be a simple mod, expect some much bigger ones to be revealed very soon.
