NVIDIA’s CES 2025 (the first time I’ve written the year!) keynote hasn’t happened yet, but the leaks have already started for their next generation of extreme graphics cards. The as-yet-unannounced Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has leaked, and it seems it’s going to be an absolute beast.
The leak comes courtesy of VideoCardz, who have uncovered a render and some specifications of the new Inno3D RTX 5090 iChill X3 model, and well, it looks like a big fat GPU. Actually, I think it looks like the Gigabyte Eagle series in terms of design.
The new card features a truly massive 32 GB of GDDR7 memory, and sports a 3.5 slot design, with a triple fan cooler over that significantly sized heatsink. It’s needed too, as the card is said to run at around 575W TDP and 600W TGP, which is around 125W more than the RTX 4090.
The new card is based on the new GB202 GPU and includes 21,760 CUDA cores, with a new 32 GB of GDDR7 memory configuration on a 512-bit bus at 28 Gbps. This means it is capable of around 1.8 TB/s of bandwidth, which is roughly double what is expected on the RTX 5080.
Estimates put the price of this card at $2000-2500, but while I would take that with a pinch of salt, I du
The keynote is due to start in 17 hours as of the time of writing, and you can tune in to the live stream on the YouTube video linked below. Don’t forget to set “notify me” if you want to watch it live!
