Days away from AMD’s RX Vega 64 launch, the first review samples are out. As a result, VideoCardz is showing off the first 3DMark benchmarks for the forthcoming graphics card. The results are impressive, placing the card’s performance between NVIDIA’s GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti.
RX Vega 64 3DMark Benchmarks
While CPUs tend not to influence GPU scores, it’s worth noting that some reviewers are testing RX Vega 64 with Threadripper. Also, the tested cards are overclocked to their peak clock. Vega 64 performs well, beating out the GTX 1080. Though, as expected, it can’t touch the GTX 1080 Ti.

Pricing and Availability
The reference AMD RX Vega 64 is out 14th August. Pricing, on the other hand, is a little more complicated. The MSRP of the Black, Limited Edition, and Liquid-Cooled RX Vega 64 variants are $499, $599, and $699, respectively. However, retailers across the world are pricing the cards up to $150 more than the MSRP. In fact, the Black and Limited Edition cards are, bizarrely, set at the same price by various international stores. How these prices change in the coming days will be interesting to watch.
