Gamers can rejoice this week as Respawn has finally given confirmation of the new Titanfall DLC, which is now known to be heading to the block buster online shooter next month.
Titanfall developer Respawn confirmed at PAX East and on their Twitter shortly afterwards that gamers can expect to see the DLC, which is called Expedition, some time in May. The DLC will be the first additional release for the title, but the developer has told us to expect a wave of updates as well, so expect some tweaks and performance improvements very soon.
Three new maps; Swampland, Runoff and Wargames are to introduced in the Expedition DLC, while the new updates are suggested to include “Burn Cards” and “hashtag” matchmaking filters, as well as a new 2 vs 2 Last Titan Standing game mode and limited time “riffs”, which are similar to L4D mutations.
