First Trailer For Fantastic Beasts Shows Us Magic Again

In a world of magic and fantasy, Harry Potter grasps hearts from generations and captured imaginations, raising questions about the world where magic is real and the beasts that go bump in the night are both friend and foe. In a sequel to the series, J.K. Rowling is looking to bring the book of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them to life on the big screen, and its trailer does nothing but mesmerize.

Set in the Potter-borne world, Beasts is the first of three films and will star Newt, the writer of the fantastic beasts series after being removed from the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry in the U.K. only to try to find a new life in early 20th Century New York.

With stars like Collin Farrell and Katherine Waterston appearing alongside Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything), the film already has a hit cast before it even reaches the big screen with effects that will make even veteran potter fans smile.

With magical suitcases and walls, creatures and floating plates alike, the movie looks to bring people back into the world of magic without a fancy top hat or a rabbit. You can check out the trailer below, then wait with the rest of us as the film hits our screens in November.
