The Ceres 400 from CM Storm was a pleasant surprise when I reviewed it, I expected it to be quite poor and somewhat of a cheaper solution from CM Storm, more a product to cater for those on a lower budget compared to the rest of the CM Storm range, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. While yes this is a cheap headset, using cheaper plastics and a more basic design than most of the CM Storm range, it still looks good and sounds rather fantastic.
It’s very comfortable, feels chunky and durable yet remains light weight and the 40mm drivers are loud and clear in the heat of battle, on Skype and are just as good for enjoying some music or a movie. The microphone isn’t overly amazing, but its on par with most headsets in this price range, the only downside being you can’t remove the Microphone boom.
The CM Storm Ceres 400 is available from online retailers for around £40
