Point-and-click survival mystery horror video game Five Nights at Freddy’s came out in 2014 for Microsoft Windows, Android, iOS and Windows Phone, and it was developed and published by Scott Cawthon. The action took place in a fictional pizza place named Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, and the player got to control a security guard that defends himself from malfunctioning, haunted animatronic characters with the help of security cameras. The game’s original graphics were definitely not something to write home about, but now, thanks to the hard work of UE4-FNaF-fangame-Dev, we can actually experience a rather impressive fan remake in Unreal Engine 4.
The great news is that this particular demo is currently available for download, which means that you can run around and explore the title’s creepy environments, even though the project itself is quite limited at the time of writing. It’s worth noting that this is just a proof of concept, but since most of these remakes are usually scrapped before they ever get released to the public, it’s definitely nice to see one that’s actually available for all to play. Before you download it, you can have a look at the video below for a glimpse of what to expect from this Five Nights at Freddy’s remake.
