The Fnatic Flick G1 is available directly from the Fnatic store for a very reasonable 59.90 EUR, which is about on par with other pro-gaming mice of this specification and performance, making it perfectly competitive.

Overview

Fnatic obviously takes their gaming series, they are a professional and globally successful eSports team after all! With that in mind, it makes sense that they wouldn’t want to use a product competitively if they didn’t have confidence in it, as not only would they start losing more games using an inferior product, it would also reflect badly on them selling poorly performing products. Of course, none of this is an issue with the Clutch G1, as it’s a rock solid product.

The performance on the G1 is nothing ground breaking, but it’s not exactly lacking either. The sensor is very good, delivering smooth and accurate tracking, even at extremely high DPI levels. There are no issues with acceleration or angle snapping either, which is always a good thing to hear when dealing with a competitive gaming mouse, as 1:1 accuracy is key.

The build quality is very nice, and it shows in the aesthetics too. The hard-wearing soft-touch rubber coating gives the mouse excellent grip, even for those who have sweaty hands while they’re gaming, but is also look nice too with its stealthy matte black finish. There’s not a huge amount of dynamic with only having the RGB lighting on the scroll wheel, but it’s practical for assigning a colour to any of your profiles, making it easy to see what mode you’re in at a glance.

Overall, a great looking mouse with reliable performance and build quality, pretty much everything you could hope for in this price range.
