Fnatic Streak Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Final Thoughts
How Much Does it Cost?
The latest keyboard from Fnatic is available from most major retailers as well as directly from their store. It’s priced at £119.99, which is a lot of money. However, for the level of features and the performance, it’s as well equipped as any flagship keyboard on the market, and quite a bit cheaper than some of the big name brands like Corsair and Razer for example.
Overview
Fnatic isn’t just out to impress the consumer market with their new keyboards. They need hardware that will help them win real-life eSports tournaments. If they kept entering competitions with their own peripherals and started losing, no one would want to buy them. Much in the same way motorsports can drive car sales, eSports drives peripheral sales. Fnatic is a solid team, and their gaming hardware is every bit as good as anyone else’s. It’s not better, but honestly, there’s little but aesthetics and bonus features separating the top dogs these days, which is no bad thing.
Build Quality
This is easily the stand-out feature of the Streak. It’s incredibly durable and both looks and feels like a quality product. It’scertainlyy something you would be proud to show off on your desktop. It’s very lightweight too, which doesn’t matter when it’s on your desk. However, if you’re a travelling eSports gamer, that weight saving is certainly welcome. The addition of premium switches, durable cables, USB pass-through, and multimedia controls all add up to a quality product. However, that PU leather wrist rest really helps complete the picture more than anything.
Performance
From typing that complaint email to the local supermarket to thrashing the competition on a global stage for your favourite game. It’s not a problem for the Streak. It’s a jack of all trades, packing the kind of features you would want for competitive gaming, without taking away from the day to day performance you might need at home or in the office. With a choice of switch types, you’ll easily find a version that suits your needs.
Should I Buy One?
At over £100, you’re pretty spoilt for choice when it comes to amazing keyboards. It’s hard to find a bad one these days. However, this is a competitive price for a keyboard with this level of features, and you can spend more on some other brands and you’ll get nothing extra for your investment. If you’re after a stylish, well made, lightweight, durable, and great performance keyboard, the Fnatic Streak ticks all the right boxes.
