Those of you who are looking forward to Ubisoft’s new For Honor game will be glad to know that the company has just revealed the exact dates for the title’s Closed Beta phase. Apparently, Closed Beta will kick off on January 26 and will last until January 29th on the PC. Furthermore, Ubisoft will also launch a brand new event during Closed Beta, which will be called War of the Factions. This limited-time event will pit the Vikings, Samurai and Knights against each other on the battlefield in order to see once and for all which faction is the strongest. During War of the Factions, all multiplayer activities will be tracked across all platforms for all players who are participating in the Closed Beta, and players will receive certain rewards for fighting for their faction.
At the end of the event, the winning faction will receive extra rewards, which only seems fair. These rewards will be transferred over to the full game, and they will only be redeemable by Closed Beta participants. The great news is that the complete game is almost finished and ready for a full release. For Honor is currently expected to come out on February 14th, which means that it won’t be long now before we’ll be able to dive into this brand new online hack and slash.
