OK so a tad sensationalist on the title there, but if you’ve played the first Peggle, you’ll know how addictive and fun the game can be. Now Peggle 2 joins the ranks of Watch Dogs and Drive Club as it is delayed from being a launch title on next-gen consoles.
The game was supposed to be a day one title for Xbox One but has now been pushed back a few weeks.
When speaking with GamesBeat, PopCap senior director of PR Garth Chouteau said that “But [it] will not launch day-and-date with the Xbox One — instead, it will become available a few weeks later in December.”
The exact new date hasn’t been revealed, but if you were looking forward to playing this one at release, then you’ll have to sit tight. But for now all we can do is hope that more games, big or small, don’t get any more delays so close to the launch window of the consoles.
Personally I’m more upset that Watch Dogs is delayed, as well as Drive Club, but it seems as we are now just weeks away the launch window titles grow fewer and fewer.
