Square Enix released Forspoken earlier this month, and while it landed to somewhat mixed reviews, it does seem to be finding a decent enough player base. Much like any other PC game that comes out these days, it had some issues, such as stuttering and FPS drops, and gamers have been eager to see those issues patched.
Square Enix released an update today, which will update Forspoken to hopefully smooth out some of these optimisation issues, as well as delivering a few bug fixes too. However, this isn’t a fix for the wider performance issues, and the big performance patch that Square Enix mentioned previously is still to come.
The pesky Xinput camera bug has been resolved, not sure how that one slipped through to be honest, as lots of people play with a controller. The FSR resetting to normal mode has been fixed, and so have a few UI issues.
To get the update, just let Steam auto-update the next time you load the client.
