EPIC Games has a lot on their plate lately. Not only did they launch the 7th season for Fortnite, but are also taking on Steam with their own EPIC Games Store. However, the fun does not stop there. The company is also announcing the launch of the new ‘Creative Mode’ for Fortnite.
The new version is an expansion of the previous Playground mode. Which entices users who prefer building over fighting. It is basically Minecraft, except minus the creepers and with a lot less blocks.
Whether Mojang intends to release a ‘Battle Royale’ mode for Minecraft in response is unlikely. Despite how hilarious that would actually be.
Although Playground mode did not last long due to match-making issues, EPIC wanted it as a permanent game mode addition. Hence, here we are today with Fortnite Creative.
Those who own a Battle Pass have early access this week already. Plus, they will be able to invite their friends to play on their island. However, once December 13 rolls around, all players will have access to a private island for FREE.
EPIC Games states that this is merely the beginning. Stating that hey are going to be adding many new features and improvements over the next few updates.

To kick things off, EPIC has selected several community leaders to create videos on YouTube. These videos should help in walking users through the Creative Mode process.
In case you prefer Spanish or French videos, thankfully, there are community leader videos for those too.
