Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain Update Coming Next Month

Forza Horizon 3 has gotten off to a great start, not only is it a great racing game, it’s also the first major retail release for the series on PC, following the free “beta” game Forza: Apex. Now Turn10 are getting ready to unleash their Blizzard Mountain expansion, which will add snowy weather, icy roads, terrifying blizzards and roads with dangerous drops, which would typically sound scary, but in a game, I can’t wait to put my foot down!

The winter expansion is set to add 50 new races and challenges to the already expansive racing game.Expect hill climbs, descents, blizzard racing and more. Basically everything that is the complete opposite of the sunny Australian heat the game has been known for.

“Blizzard Mountain is a mountain paradise for car fans, full of adventurous terrain and challenging driving conditions,” says the announcement. “New areas like the extreme sports snow park and a massive frozen lake make this the ultimate snowy playground for players’ favourite vehicles. In addition, players will find bonus boards to smash, beauty spots to enjoy, and a brand new hidden Barn Find vehicle.”

There will be six new vehicles added with the expansion, such as the 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX, the 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, and a few classic rally cars.

The update is included with the season pass, but the individual price is currently unknown. The Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain update hits all formats on December 13th.

Have you been enjoying Forza Horizon 3 and are you looking forward to a break from the warmer weather theme the game currently uses?
