The Forza Horizon series originally began as an Xbox One exclusive and allowed racing fans to enjoy hurtling around a gorgeous open-world environment. Not only that, the accessible physics model made the game a treat for those without a great deal of experiencing in racing simulators and expanded the game’s appeal considerably. The rise of the PC platform and lacklustre Xbox One sales over a long period encouraged Microsoft to take PC Gaming seriously and launch their own Windows Store. As a result, Windows 10 owners could access Forza Horizon for the first time without buying a console. So far, the reception for Forza Horizon 3 has been extremely positive and regarded as one of the best racing games ever made. Sadly, the PC version suffers from some stutter and bizarre performance drops on certain configurations. It’s being looked into though and I’m sure the optimisation will improve.
To mark this momentous occasion, Microsoft has entered into a partnership with ASUS to include Forza Horizon 3 at no extra cost with a wide range of gaming laptops. According to Microsoft’s press release, the promotion is valid on the G752VS, G752VM, GL502VS, GL502VM, G701VI, GL702VM, GT51CA, G11CD, G20CB and more. This is fantastic news for those investing in a new laptop who want to play Microsoft’s latest racing thriller.
