Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Gameplay Leaks

It seems that Microsoft is trying to patch things up with PC gamers, and this means that we’re going to see a few Xbox exclusive titles arriving on Windows 10. One of these titles is Forza Motorsport 6, which will be launched as a free-to-play game on the Microsoft Store in the form of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex. Obviously, the free-to-play part might worry some of you as this could hint at a rather disappointing business model. However, we shouldn’t really focus on that right now, especially since a gameplay footage of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex has recently leaked online. The leak also includes several screenshots of the upcoming game, and I have to say that it all looks pretty good for a free-to-play title.

“Arriving on the Windows Store this spring and available for free, “Forza Motorsport 6: Apex” is a powerful demonstration of what the ForzaTech™ engine can do when unleashed by DirectX 12 at resolutions up to 4K. Developed by Turn 10 Studios, “Forza Motorsport 6: Apex” is the first step in Microsoft’s commitment to creating amazing Forza experiences for Windows 10 PC gamers.”

What caught my eye in particular was the fact that the developers did their best to implement as many graphics settings options as possible, including basic settings related to V-Sync and resolution as well as more advanced ones such as reflection quality, particle effects quality, depth of field and procedural quality. As for the gameplay itself, I didn’t notice any stuttering or other performance issues while watching the video, which means that the game will probably run pretty smooth.

Will you be trying out Forza Motorsport 6: Apex?
