The next instalment in the Forza Motorsport franchise is soon to arrive after nearly 6 years since the previous Forza Motorsport 7 and the rumour mill is throwing us the 10th of October for a possible release date.
Forza Motorsport 10th October
I haven’t properly played a Forza Motorsport game since Motorsport 5 which put me off the series after the masterpiece that was Motorsport 4. The series is set to continue with the release of Forza Motorsport without a numbered title which would be Motorsport 8 and the release date has been rumoured by sources to exputer.com who claim that the game will release on the 10th of October 2023. The game will release on XBOX Series S/X and PC Plus will be available from day one on Xbox Game Pass and will likely see more information at the Xbox Showcase tomorrow at 17:00 UTC.
I’ve definitely got my eyes on the game and my only demand is that it has the same brilliant progression that Motorsport 4 had and not the awful progression that all games after including Horizon have had. I hated when I started playing both Horizon 3-4-5 and receiving supercars after just 20 minutes of playing either through gifts for playing the previous games or through wheelspins. I want what Motorsport 4 had where you start off racing granny wagons in F class and slowly work your way up to the motorsport tiers in R1. Current Details do say of an all-new career mode which could possibly give me what I want. The good news is that even if they don’t I won’t have to buy the game outright and can just play it for a bit on Game Pass then never again.
