Forza Motorsport will soon be getting its second major update in mid-November which will be introducing the first “new” track to the game alongside over 200 bug fixes that are sorely needed.
I haven’t played much of Forza Motorsport since my initial review as I ended up distracted by ETS 2 again and now Cities Skylines 2, but if a new update is on the table I’m ready to get back in for a few races. The second major update for the game is due for release in mid-november and most notably brings in Yas Marina Circuit, the location of the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix. The track was previously in Motorsport 7 and is among several missing tracks including the Nürburgring Nordschleife which fans are desperately waiting for.
Alongside Yas Marina is over 200 bug fixes and considering the issues that many fans have been facing, that still seems like a small number. Some of the fixes include general stability, fixes for crashes on AMD chipsets and a patch for an exploit that involved changing your car tune mid-race leading to extreme speed and lots of XP and money.
More details will be revealed closer to the release date.
