Forza Motorsport Update 4.0 Adds New Events and Daytona Speedway
Jakob Aylesbury / 10 months ago
A new content update has been released for Forza Motorsport though getting it out of the way, this is a content focused update and isn’t fixing any of the key issues that plague the game such as dodgy AI, questionable progression and performance problems.
Forza Motorsport Update 4.0
Kicking off this update is the introduction of the famous Daytona International Speedway in Florida including the Tri-oval circuit and sports car circuit, eh just another freedom circle.
There are two new career events, Italian Challengers from Jan 18 – Feb 29 which includes All-Wheel Driven, Roadster Renaissance, Alfa Performance and Prancing Power featuring a 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV as the reward. Open Class Automotive Classics from Jan 18th – Feb 15th which consists of C Class Series, B Class Series, A Class Series and S Class Series with a reward car of the 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Stradale.
On top of the new series events there are also a long list of bug fixes for both cars and tracks which include texture fixes, rebalancings, model issues, collision problems and AI pathing issues.
The game is still in a rough state but hopefully Turn10 can turn this game around over the coming months.
