Fractal Design Arc XL Full Tower Chassis Review

Final Thoughts
It took around 20 minutes to complete our build, which is surprisingly quick for a chassis of this size, but the case was so easy to work with that I didn’t have any issues getting all our components to fit. There is loads of space to spare in here and it made it very easy to route cables. Our GTX 560 Ti looks tiny here and while I have removed the front hard drive bay from demonstration purposes, it really didn’t need to be taken out and likely won’t unless you’re planning on extra front cooling or a super long GPU.
Even a 7990 wouldn’t have any issues fitting the Arc XL, and having all that extra space for airflow and cable routing is no bad thing.
The build looks really neat and tidy, the cable routing options means that nothing looks out-of-place and airflow is unobstructed throughout the build, certainly more than enough room for multiple graphics cards here.
The NZXT Kraken X60 is a 280mm slim radiator and it fits in the Arc XL without any issue, plus it’s black and white design compliments the design of the chassis very well. Extra cable routing holes above the motherboard are perfect for routing the various fan and power cables required too, keeping everything neatly out-of-the-way of the fans and the motherboard.
With the side panel back in place you can just about see our components, the heavy tint means that it’s not overly exposed and I suspect it would look great with a little bit of back-lighting.
