Computex 2015: With all the chaos of the main event halls at Computex, Fractal Design decided to do things a little differently and reveal their new products in a far more relaxed and entertaining environment at their own private party. Many of the top industry people were invited along to come and check out what they had been working on, as well as enjoy the great atmosphere, for which we’re greatful to be invited to
One of the coolest products on show was the Node 202, which comes with the Integra SFX 450W PSU. This marks Fractal Designs entry into the slim form factor market, offering competition from the growing popularity of “SteamMachines” and other SFF gaming systems.
Also on display, a range of high-end AIO water cooling units, the biggest of which is the Kelvin S36; if it performs half as good as it looks, this should be a great cooler.
Fractal Design has been working hard on redesigning their fan range and while it’s often hard to tell the difference between many models, their latest promise to be cooler, quieter and simply better all round; which I think you’ll agree is no bad thing.
The new Core 500 is a great looking cube-style chassis, perfect for those who want a tidy and compact system for their gaming system, office or HTPC system in their living room.
It comes with all the features you would expect and has room for a mini-ITX motherboard and a 300mm graphics card; perfect for a gaming system.
We’re really looking forward to checking out these products over the coming weeks and months. We’ll bring you more information as soon as we have it and of course, keep an eye out for in-depth reviews as soon as we have the products.
