Complete System

Building a system inside the rather enormous Vector RS was pretty easy. However, the little details matter too. In the box, they include this handy on-cable ARGB controller for the integrated RGB lighting on the case exterior. If your motherboard doesn’t have an RGB header, you can use this instead. Isn’t that nice of them!

The system looks incredibly clean, especially with the PSU shroud and the panel over the HDD trays tucking all the cables and guts out of the way.

The motherboard, cooler and graphics card are beautifully presented overall.

Multi-GPU configurations certainly shouldn’t be an issue here, and there’s loads of airflow thanks to the plentiful width. The GTX 1080 Ti fits with ease, however, if you have a longer card, the HDD trays can be moved to give you more space.

Clearance

There’s loads of space in here for a larger air cooler if you desire. I’m confident my NH-D15S would have fit, but I liked the matching monotone look of this one. I’m sure top panel radiators will fit just fine too; with the optional panel installed.

The top panel looks amazing with the glass in place though. You can really see the lighting inside the case and show off your hardware. Of course, it’s subjective, but I like it. Notice the red line? That’s the RGB tucked in beside the glass.

The RGB runs down the front panel too, again, just edging the tempered glass for a subtle side-light effect.

The RGB strip cuts through the case in a lightning bolt pattern. Remember, there’s a controller included in the box, so you can dial in your lighting easily enough.

You can pick through colours, effects, patterns, brightness, or just turn them all off too. It’s a nice feature, but a picture speaks a thousand words!

But Wait… There’s More!

The front panel can pull away easily enough. This gives you access to the button and front panel dust filters. They’re easily cleaned and re-installed.

While you’re here, you can remove two screws up in the top, and slide the entire top panel tempered glass section out of the way.

Then you simply slide on the dust filter and metal top panel cover instead. This gives you more airflow, more fan mounts, more radiator space. How awesome is that!
