Meteor Entertainment and Adhesive Games have release their latest multiplayer map for the free-to-play Mech shooter Hawken. The new map, called Wreckage, is set inside a huge crashed freight cruiser in a swamp on the planet ILALL and forms part of Meteor Entertainment’s latest initiative in expanding upon Hawken’s vast futuristic universe.
In a seasonal twist, a special winter version of the the Last Eco map will also be making an appearance, complete with a dusting of snow to get Hawken players in a festive mood… or at least as festive as you can get while knocking the crud out of each other in giant mechs.
“Our artists and designers worked closely together to ensure that both art and design created the best experience possible for players,” says Darren Quach, senior concept artist.
If the snow isn’t festive enough for you, then you can also look forward to holiday themed camo’s, a snowman repair drone, a candy-cane wrapped thruster, chasis art and a good old-fashioned snipe hunt complete the Wreckage patch loadout.
