Free-to-Play Mech Shooter Hawken Moving To Steam

Reports state that the Free-to-Play shooter mech game by the name of Hawken is coming to the Steam platform. According to developer Adhesive Games, the launcher will be moved in Steam and Adhere wishes for all players to make the move and switch to Steam.
This is similar to what War Thunder, the WW2 plane arcade/simulation game did last year. It is reported that invitation to switch to the Steam platform have started rolling out yesterday and players won’t be able to create a new account until the migration is completed and the new update is released, so new players have to wait a bit if they haven’t had a chance to create an account yet.
After the game is moved and integrated in the Steam platform, players will also require a Steam account and the client to log into the platform. Also, players need to download the game once again through Steam’s servers, which is quite annoying. But you can also try to move your old game to Steam’s SteamApps folder and probably inside the Common folder as well, but don’t try this if you aren’t familiar with some basic IT knowledge at least. You’re better off downloading the entire game to avoid any issues with it.
Players will also be able to use a few of Steam’s features, such as the Wallet to pay for micro-transactions, making things easier to buy and enjoy your gameplay.
