FreshTech Solutions GTX 1080 Titan Gaming PC Review

A Closer Look
The Game Max Titan chassis is quite large and adopts a sleek, understated design which compliments the entire build. Despite being a fairly cheap case, there’s evidence of good workmanship and it appears to be great value. The power supply cover is an excellent addition which allows for a cleaner finish and the matte black coating doesn’t attract dust and resists fingerprints relatively well.
Here we can see the Corsair H80i V2 which utilises gorgeous textured tubing and a stunning CPU block. Also, the CPU block has a customizable RGB LED which adds some visual flair to the system. From this image, it’s clear that the cooler’s USB header has been routed in a proficient manner and the tubing run looks fantastic. On another note, the Corsair Vengeance LPX memory black heatspreaders combine with the GPU’s backplate to create a synergy of colours throughout the PC. The GTX 1080 Founders Edition sports a premium vapor-chamber cooling solution and the build quality is beyond reproach.
Freshtech Solutions have tied together the graphics card’s cabling via zip-ties and the tight cable run looks superb.
The front panel connectors have been professionally routed through the chassis’ cable management holes and there’s very little excess wiring.
From an overhead perspective, it’s clear how well the system balances the black and red colour scheme. Even the red covers on the GPU’s SLI connectors and top dust filter contributes to this wonderful array of colours.
In the front section, there are two red LED fans which offer decent airflow and liven the build up substantially. Of course, these aren’t the best quality and cannot contend with premium options like Noctua NF-F12 or Corsair SP120. Nevertheless, they’re relatively quiet and only come into force when opting for the highest preset on the chassis’ integrated fan controller.
On the front of the chassis, there’s a subtle Game Max logo which looks rather fetching and doesn’t overawe the system’s professional design. Sadly, this dust filter doesn’t have the most solid mechanism and uncouples too easily.
When it comes to cable management, Freshtech Solutions have done a commendable job and employed a logical arrangement. More specifically, the 24-pin ATX power is held down with numerous zip-ties to prevent it from protruding outwards and doesn’t inhibit your ability to shut the side panel easily. As you can see, the chassis’ cable management holes have been used effectively and the end result looks remarkably neat.
Towards the mechanical hard drive mounts, there are spare Molex cables coupled together and kept away from other larger cables. In an ideal world, I’d like to see the Molex cables hidden behind the chassis’ edge but it’s not a major issue given that the solid side panel will obscure the rear section.
The front panel cabling is guided around the chassis using integrated cable cut-outs and joined with the main 24-pin. This demonstrates a very high level of expertise and finish is certainly worthy of praise.
Finally, the 8-pin EPS is routed in a straight cable run and tied with two fan headers.
