Even though Grand Theft Auto V is a visual treat and based on a massive scale, the GTX 1080 never falters and upholds a perfectly smooth frame-rate. This applies when using a 4K monitor although the drops will seem more jarring compared to lower resolutions. When this is the case, simply adjust a few settings to find a better balance between visual fidelity and performance.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Rise of the Tomb Raider’s Very High preset offers exceptional texture quality and asks questions of many powerful graphics cards. The system’s GTX 1080 is in its element during demanding games and outputs incredible frame rates under the most extreme pressure. Unfortunately, it’s not quite able to maintain 60 frames-per-second with a 4K display, but it’s close enough to only require minor changes in the options menu.

Hitman

During the Hitman benchmark, the system’s GTX 1080 managed to offer a wonderful user-experience and it’s suitable for people who own a high-refresh monitor below 4K. Once again, 60 frames-per-second is possible on a 4K monitor and you don’t have to use low settings to achieve this.
