FSP Hydro PTM X Pro 1000W Power Supply Review

Ripple

Alongside the incredibly impressive efficiency scores in our testing, the ripple results provided from the FSP Hydro PTM X Pro are, if not as impressive, then in an exceptionally close second place. As you can see from the results below, both the 3.3V and 5V rail never scored higher than 8.8, and even the 12V rail only scored a maximum of 14.4.

When you consider that the maximum allowed under EU standards is 50, this really cements the fact that the ripple performance of the FSP Hydro PTM X Pro isn’t good, it’s among some of the best results we’ve ever seen.
