With Starfield being an AMD focused title, it launched with AMD’s FSR technology, however this was only FSR 2 and since then we have seen DLSS 3 implemented but are still waiting on FSR 3, until now. The latest Beta update for Starfield will introduce the latest Fidelity FX Super Resolution 3 into the game at long last.
Bethesda has today announced in the latest Steam Beta for Starfield, FSR 3 will be available to use. This technology is supported by a wide variety of graphics cards and will provide a strong increase in performance with a small cost in visual fidelity. It is recommended that FSR 3 is used alongside turning VSYNC on as well as on a VRR monitor for the best experience.
If you’re struggling to run Starfield, I’m sure the inclusion of FSR 3 Frame Generation will be a nice addition to make your experience much better.
