Full AMD Ryzen CPU Lineup Specs, Prices and Clock Speeds Leaked

As the actual launch of the much-awaited AMD Ryzen lineup inches closer purportedly on March 2nd, more leaks are coming out including how the new stock coolers are going to look as well as how it performs in certain benchmarks such as SiSoft Sandra. The latest leak however is courtesy of a Chinese retailer leaking internal product listing. The prices are localized to Yuan and is compared directly to the closest Intel competitors. Directly converted, these prices are significantly higher for both Intel and AMD CPUs listed but are 25% markup across the board, which WCCFTech who first reported it, suggests is due to taxes and other fees.

Normalized for USD prices, it should look something more like the table below. Also interesting are the clock speeds and cache sizes listed per CPU. Several leaks have revealed the top end AMD Ryzen CPU information earlier having 95W TDP for both Ryzen 7 1800X and Ryzen 1700X and 16MB L3. The 1800X maxes out at 4.0 GHz turbo from 3.6GHz base and 4.0GHz+ with XFR while the 1700X starts at 3.4GHz and has a turbo clock speed of 3.8GHz and also has the XFR feature. The Ryzen 7 1700 does not have the XFR function but it will be similarly unlocked (in fact the entire lineup will be unlocked for overclocking similar to AMD FX series CPUs) and will have a 3.0GHz base clock and 3.7GHz turbo at 65W TDP. All the top three CPUs will feature 8 cores and 16 threads and 16MB of L3 cache.

Price
Ryzen 7 1800X 8/16 16MB 95W 3.6GHz 4.0GHz 4.0GHz+ Yes $499
Ryzen 7 1700X 8/16 16MB 95W 3.4GHz 3.8GHz 3.8GHz+ Yes $389
Ryzen 7 1700 8/16 16MB 65W 3.0GHz 3.7GHz N/A Yes $319
Ryzen 5 1600X 6/12 16MB 95W 3.3GHz 3.7GHz 3.7GHz+ Yes $259
Ryzen 5 1500 6/12 16MB 65W 3.2GHz 3.5GHz N/A Yes $229

The Ryzen 5 line on the other hand will feature two version: two are six cores and 12 threads with a similar 16MB cache while two will be four core with eight threads. The non-XFR version which is the Ryzen 5 1500 will have a 65W TDP unlike the Ryzen 5 1600X which will have a 95W TDP like the high-end XFR-enabled Ryzen 7’s. Weirdly enough, both Ryzen 5 1600X and Ryzen 5 1500 will have higher baseclocks than the Ryzen 7 1700, with the 1600X starting at 3.3GHz with a 3.7GHz turbo and the 1500 starting at 3.2GHz with a 3.5GHz Turbo. Both the 4-core/8-thread Ryzen 5’s will only have 8MB of L3 cache and will have a 65W TDP.

The Ryzen 5 1400X starts at 3.5GHz with a 3.9GHz Turbo and the Ryzen 5 1300 starts at 3.2GHz with a 3.5GHz Turbo. In terms of pricing, the 4-core/8-thread lineup is the cut-off for the under $200 mark and should compete nicely against Intel’s i5 line while priced lower.

At the entry level Ryzen sits the Ryzen 3’s which will be available in two SKUs. Both will feature 8MB of L3 cache and 65W TDP similar to the Ryzen 5 1400X and Ryzen 5 1300. Both will have four cores but will only have four threads. The Ryzen 3 1200X starts at 3.4GHz with a 3.8GHz turbo while the Ryzen 3 1100 has a base clock of 3.2GHz and a Turbo clock speed of 3.5GHz. These are going to be available for $149 and $129 respectively and should give the Intel i3-7350K a good fight for value considering they are also both unlocked and much more affordable.
