G.Skill RipjawsX F3-17000 CL9D 2133MHz Memory Kit Review

Final Thoughts
This was the first time we’ve taken a look at a DDR3 set of memory from G.Skill, and we sure hope it’s not the last as we were simply amazed by this particular set of modules.

The Ripjaws series in general already have a solid name in the market place, and if this memory is anything to go by, we can’t wait to see how the rest of the range performs. If you are a user with a Sandybridge system, or are potentially looking at going over to Sandybridge, this is going to be the memory for you. It features blistering fast speeds from the start, and also has some overclocking potential if you crave the need for even more power.

The overall look would suit the likes of the Asus ROG series motherboards, with its black and red colour scheme, though any Sandybridge based board will see the lightning fast performance from this memory.

Not only does the RipjawsX F3-17000 CL9D 2133MHz memory kit offer fantastic performance, it also features a lifetime warranty and £50 price point for the consumers on a budget, offering an amazing bang for buck and a slight edge over the competitors.

If you want the best, the G.Skill RipjawsX F3-17000 CL9D 2133MHz set of memory offers it on a silver platter.

Pros:

  • Fast
  • Overclocking potential
  • Tight timings for its rated speed
  • Stylish heatspreaders
  • Attractive price
  • Lifetime warranty

Cons:

  • None
