G.Skill TridentX Reaches 4400MHz!

G.Skill have just announced that their Trident X memory has been taken to new levels – a staggering 4400MHz! That sets a new world record for the highest memory frequency and it is a staggeringly high achievement if you consider it was achieved using DDR3 memory modules.

The achievement was done using an Intel Haswell Core i7 4770K, ASUS Maximus VI Impact motherboard and a healthy dose of LN2! The person who achieved this all was professional overclocked James “YoungPro” Travaskis from TeamAU. He used a G.Skill Trident X DDR3 3000MHz C12 4GB stick to break the world record.

More details here.
