G.SKILL is launching a new range of high-performance DDR4 SO-DIMM memory kits designed for small-form factor (SFF) systems. Top of the tree is the G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR4-3800MHz, which boasts CL18-18-18-38 32GB (4x8GB) at 1.35V. As such, the 3800MHz kit becomes the fastest SO-DIMM in the world. In addition, the top-end 3800MHz sticks are joined by 3600MHz and 3200MHz variations. In fact, the latter is available in 32GB (4x8GB) and 64GB (4x16GB) kits. The trio all use Samsung B-die integrated circuits.
Big Performance, Small Package
At Computex 2017 in June, G.SKILL demonstrated high-speed Ripjaws SO-DIMM series at DDR4-3466MHz, and we are now once again raising the speed of the fastest SO-DIMM memory kit to the intense mind-bending speed of DDR4-3800MHz. Validated on the latest ASRock X299E-ITX/ac motherboard and the Intel® Core™ i9-7900X X-series Processor, extreme memory performance is now a reality with small-form factor workstations.
G.SKILL then shows off the following performance numbers:
G.SKILL’s new Ripjaws memory kits are out in December. Price is unknown. However, given G.SKILL’s previous memory pricing, they’ll probably be expensive.
