Gainward has today announced two new RTX 40 series cards for its new Panther lineup.
Gainward Panther 40 Series Cards
The new Panther series of cards from Gainward features a very simple black design with no RGB or colour flair to be seen anywhere and are for those who desire a simple function over form rig with no flashy rainbow lights. The cooling solution of the Panther series will feature a 3.1-slot design and will be used for both a 4080 and 4070 ti model with no mention of a future 4070 when that releases on the 13th.
Cooling Specifications
The Panther series of graphics cards features 3 cyclone fans which make use of a wing tip on the fan tail to converge the air current providing smooth maximized airflow into the heatsinks. The fans feature a two-ball bearing design with IP5X dust-resistant technology and a lower fan vibration which in turn increases the life expectancy of the fan. Furthermore, the fans feature a zero RPM mode during low workloads to ensure a quieter operation.
Performance Specifications
Both the 4070 TI and 4080 variants are set to feature the standard NVIDIA specs with no factory overclocking for either. Both cards feature the standard display layout with three DP 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1 as well as the single 12VHPWR connector.
