GALAX GeForce GTX 970 EXOC Infinity Black and Whisper Silent Announced

Overclockers UK have just announced the GeForce GTX 970 Whisper Silent Edition and the GALAX GeForce GTX 970 EXOC Infinity Black Edition, developed by graphics card specialist and VGA expert Andrew “Gibbo” Gibson alongside overclocking star Ian “8Pack” Parry.

The Whisper Silent Edition features Samsung GDDR5 memory, green LED logo & stable black backplate and as the name suggests, whisper silent operation thanks to the addition of the GTX 980 reference cooler.

For the GALAX GeForce GTX 970 EXOC Infinity Black, Overlockers UK collaborated with GALAX to come up with this modified version of Gibbo’s GeForce GTX 970 Whisper Silent Edition. The new card comes with an “Extreme OC: 1.178 MHz base clock & whopping 1.329 MHz boost clock” and “silent EXOC dual-fan cooler with partial shut-down when idle”.
